ABOUT THE SERIES
RCDS invites it's current parents to come and bring a friend to February's Free Wellness & Yoga Series.
• Each 60 min session features a guided practice of yoga postures followed by a brief discussion.
• Sessions will cover a unique topic each week that caters to parents and focuses on the CORE principles of wellness (Concentration, Observe, Realize, Empower).
• Attend one class or all six based on your preference and availability.
Participants will learn:
• How to focus on their breath while moving through yoga postures.
• How to balance external movement with internal calm to develop mindfulness.
• How to think critically, ignore distractions, pay attention in the present moment, make effective use of time, concentrate and refocus attention, all of which are skills that naturally translate to personal success.
