RCDS Grandparents

Grandparents are very important members of our RCDS community.  Their involvement reinforces the importance of education and lets their grandchildren know that they think their school is a wonderful place.

RCDS grandparents participate in many events here at school.  They attend plays and other performances; they help out with parties and community service events; they also volunteer at a number of Parent Council functions throughout the year, such as Book Fair and Rummage Sale.

2011-2012 Grandparent Annual Giving

Thank you!   We are thrilled to report that 63 RCDS Grandparents made gifts totaling over $30,000 during the 2011-2012 Annual Giving year.  Our new Annual Giving year began on July 1st, 2012. Make your gift today!

Did You Know?

You can transfer up to $100,000 from your IRA to RCDS, if you are at least age 70 1/2.  You will pay no income tax on the transferred amount, and the transfer satisfies your required minimum distribution while greatly benefiting the students, faculty and programs at The Rumson Country Day School.  Contact Director of Development Jessica Goski at (732) 842-0527 ext. 1142 to learn more.
